Institute Co-founders Honored with Legacy Award

HOUSTON—Institute for Civility Co-founders Cassandra Dahnke and Tomas Spath were honored at the Emotional Civility Conference, hosted by Dr. Sharon Anderson, on March 26, 2021. Dahnke and Spath were bestowed the 2021 Legacy Award for their work promoting civility in public and private spheres.

Last week saw the Institute’s definition of civility featured in Columbus, Georgia’s Ledger-Enquirer. As part of his November 22 column, The Word for Today, and for the Holidays, executive editor Dimon Kendrick-Holmes quotes it in full:
